Scar Camouflage [Prices]
If you suffer from scars that you wish would go away, we have a solution. Scars from old wounds, burns and reconstructive surgery can now be significantly reduced through our 'scar camouflage' method. This method can help the body rejuvenate its own tissue and reduce the visibility of scars.
Most scar tissue will respond to treatment similar to stretch marks. Increased new and natural collagen growth occurs in the thin and stretched tissue of the scar, firming up the skin. No pigment or ink is used but the appearance of “white scars” begin to fade into the body’s natural skin tone as the body builds new healthy tissue. This is a direct reaction to the needling procedure. Tight scar tissue can also soften and relax as the dry needling technique helps break up scar tissue in the dermis. This can help improve any tightness that negatively compromises range of motion if the scar is in a sensitive area such as over a joint.
This procedure is much less invasive than skin resurfacing, microdermabrasion, or other procedures with long and painful recovery times. Creams, lotions, and other topical treatments have not been shown to be effective in reducing the prominence of scars on patients. Since part of the healing process of dry needling is the result of the body’s own healing, results continue to improve over time. Many patients see significant results in just a few sessions and are pleased with the results.
How much improvement one can expect is different from individual to individual. Generally the body will improve since it is being allowed to heal in a controlled manner, rather than the formation of scar tissue as the result of significant trauma. Many scars represent something emotional that goes beyond physical appearance. The act of taking control of the situation has provided relief for many of our clients. Actively addressing a scar takes those memories of the trauma and allows one to put the incident behind them.
Clients have reported that they have seen a big improvement after just one session. Results will improve over time and it can be best to give a treatment or series of treatments at least 4 months to represent final results.
We now offer ‘dry needling’ at our clinic. This is considered one of the best solutions for the reduction and elimination of unsightly scars available today. Please call our clinic 1.657.215.6113 or Schedule Online to book your FREE consultation.

What to Expect at the Consultation
The Client is given a release form to complete and sign.
The Technician goes through the form and checks if client is a good candidate for the procedure selected.
If the client is a good candidate, the technician will then explain the procedure to the client so the client knows what to expect.
Pigment color will be selected and discussed to match clients desired skin tone.
The Technician will answer all questions to put the client's concerns at ease. At this point, the client can decide whether to continue on with the procedure or if they would prefer to reschedule the procedure for another day.
What to Expect During the Procedure
The area of the body being treated is cleaned with a disinfectant to ensure the most sterile environment possible.
A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area and allowed to work for 30 minutes.
After the area is fully numbed and the client feels as comfortable as possible, the technician will begin the procedure.
The dermal layer of the skin is treated with matching pigment color using a cosmetic tattoo machine (a device that looks similar to a pen). Many clients describe the procedure as being a scratching or tingling sensation with discomfort being minimal.
After the procedure, Aloe Vera and Bacitracin ointment is applied to help soothe and protect the area from infection.
What to Expect After the Procedure
Once the session is complete, you will be provided with a copy of aftercare guidelines to follow to ensure maximum results. The more strict you are with these guidelines the better your results will be and the shorter your recovery period.
Aftercare instructions are also available online. Once you have completed your session with us, we will provide you with a password to gain access to our Aftercare Online section, just in case you lose your copy.
Number of sessions required
The amount of sessions required varies based on how severe the scars are. A plan of treatment will be discussed with you at the time of your consultation. However, most clients notice significant results just after one session.
